ABOUT
ABOUT ME
Hi there! I'm Benny Wollin (Voh-LEEN). I was born and raised in Germany, where my Dad worked in music ministry for thirty years. I grew up surrounded by music, whether it was one of my siblings practicing, visiting my Dad at the recording studio, or playing for church on Sunday.
Over the past ten years I've worked as an accompanist for musicals and solo performers, have performed alone and in jazz and classical ensembles, and have taught piano privately and for the Lawrence Academy. I currently teach independently and have a studio of over forty students.
I'm familiar with digital audio production, creating styles from orchestral film music to dubstep to acoustic ambient.
As a teacher, I strive to work with each student toward their individual goals while providing a solid foundation in the fundamentals of music. For me, music is about the joy of discovery and creation.
I live in Appleton with my wife and four kids, and I look forward to serving this community for many years to come!
